Our Premises have been specially redesigned for young children. We have three separate play areas (two outdoors and one indoors). Each area has been custom designed and promotes different gross and fine motor skills. We have a water play area, a road with mini cars and bikes, dotted with shops and houses; custom built play equipment, especially brought in from overseas, swings and a huge sandpit.

The outdoor areas are fully shaded and we also have a sun safe policy of hats and sun cream. The indoor area consists of ball play, climbing frames, balance equipment, a trampoline, tunnels and lots more! Each area has been finished with proper impact absorbent flooring (the indoor flooring is also anti-bacterial).

The Centres are bright and airy, including a specially designed babies area. Each classroom is spacious and have their own bathrooms. The classrooms are well equipped with a range of equipment, manipulative toys, books; art and craft tools and they are divided into different areas for different activities. The tables and chairs are designed to suit each particular age group.

At Bright Beginnings, we also have a library, a pretend area (with dress- ups, a puppet theatre, play kitchen, shops etc) and a computer pod. There is a designated music area (with instruments). The children will also participate in cooking activities.

We focus on the ‘fun’ side of learning with an emphasis on bright, colourful surroundings, and toys and equipment that will encourage your child's participation. Learning through play, with children producing their own creations, is a major focus at the centre. Emphasis is on children learning to make choices and develop independence, and activities that develop creativity and self-expression.

Bright Beginnings is the ideal environment for children in these early years. There are no pressures on the children and they can build confidence and independence with the help of the wonderful teachers and the other children. The children will be exposed to pre-writing, pre-reading and early numeracy skills. Your child learns through play – sharing, building, constructing, co-operating, creating, reading, listening, imagining, telling, discovering, and making decisions. Activities foster balanced development in art, music, language, role-play and problem solving. Outdoor and indoor, quiet and noisy, individual, small and large group activities are all part of your child's day at Bright Beginnings. By the time they leave us to go to ‘big school’, they will have acquired the independence, confidence and knowledge they will require to enter more formal education.

Our multi-lingual program (English, French and Arabic) offers the children the opportunity to learn or further extend their knowledge of languages whilst they are young and able to absorb new concepts so quickly and easily.

Development of social skills is a vital part of the nursery experience. And there is plenty of emphasis on building physical skills that allows children to explore their creative and problem-solving abilities.

Each class provides a large and exciting range of age appropriate equipment, which extends and nurtures your child’s development. Resources are updated regularly, and staff is kept abreast of developments in early childhood education, through in house training and appropriate courses and seminars.

We aim to enrich children's lives day-by-day so that they build up within themselves a sense of self-worth, a feeling of success and achievement.
