Extracurricular activities are an integral part of the SABIS Educational System. Students are encouraged to develop talents, interests, hobbies and skills through participation in physical, academic, scientific and artistic pursuits. Extracurricular activities complement students’ academic work. While providing ways to interact, relax and have fun, activities develop students’ interests, keep students physically fit, increase their energy and their stamina and promote mental alertness. Students may join Mid-Day Activities, Afternoon Activities or Saturday Activities.

The SABIS Educational System is distinguished by the philosophy upon which it is based, the goals that it sets and the approaches and methods that it employs to accomplish these goals. It provides a sound, thorough and high level education. At ISC – Khalifa City and like other SABIS schools, the curriculum covers courses leading to a wide range of external examinations that include the US Advanced Placement Exams, the SAT & TOEFL exams and the British GCE / GCSE / IGCSE & AS/A – Level Exams. The school also offers courses that prepare students for a High School Diploma.
