Rawafed Private School offers a broad and challenging elementary to College Preparatory Program in the English language to the students of local and expatriate nationalities residing in the United Arab Emirates. Drawing on the best of American, British and other curriculum models and sensitive to the Arabian environment, the school delivers a comprehensive academic education in partnership with parents.

Curriculum / Programs
The curriculum includes English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Computer Studies, Art, Music and PE. In Grade 4, French is introduced.
KG1 and KG2 are a separate unit in school and work on developing the skills and language needed to prepare them for more formal study in Grade 1.
Children are given opportunities to develop the basic skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as physical movement, manipulation and the social skills essential to success in groups.
Class teachers teach Grade 1 to Grade 4 students in self-contained classes. The curriculum includes English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science, Islamic Studies, Computer Studies, Art, Music and PE. In Grade 4 French and Social Studies are introduced.
Subject specialists teach students in Grades 5-12 as follows:
Grades 5-6: English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science, Computer Studies, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, French, Art, Music and PE.
Grades 7-8: English, Arabic, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Studies, Islamic Studies and PE.
Grades 9-10: English, Arabic, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Social Studies, Islamic Studies and PE
Grades 11-12: English, Arabic, Mathematics, Computer Studies, Islamic Studies and PE.
Students choose three subjects from the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business Studies, Psychology. Students are expected to choose at least one Science subject. They are prepared for TOEFL, SAT I, SAT II and AP examinations.
Students in Grade 10 choose to either continue with High School Program as described above and are awarded a Diploma at the end of Grade 12, or opt for the British System and complete 5 IGCSEs, 2 AS levels and 1 A level.
In order to equate the Diploma with that of the Ministry of Education, all students must successfully complete the Ministry examinations in Arabic and Islamic Studies in Grade 10, 11 & 12.
Special Arabic classes and Islamic Studies in English are available in school for those students who require them provided they fulfill the conditions set by the Ministry of Education.
