Emirates National School, Abu Dhabi - (Private)


Emirates National School is located about 30 km from the capital city of Abu Dhabi. The campus is made up of four schools: PreK – Kg2, Primary, Girls’ and Boys’.
Emirates National School (ENS) will introduce a combination of new teaching methods and curricula as the ideal standard for the region. The school program will be based on the following.
Primary Years Programme (PYP).
Middle Years Program (MYP).
Arabic Islamic Studies.
UAE National Studies.

This syllabus provides a framework of clearly defined education objectives. With a solid curriculum, ENS teachers will be expected to optimize the development of the students through a deep understanding of the individual and application of teaching methodologies and strategies targeting each student.

The educational program is characterized by an ambitious and wide-ranging program of co-curricular activities, which are designed to broaden the horizons and cultivate the individual interests and talents of the students.

Teachers and students will be supported by excellent facilities, including state-of-the-art infrastructure for Information and Communication Technology. A splendid buildings complex and outstanding sports facilities have been designed to support and actively stimulate learning opportunities.

Large playing fields, computer and science laboratories, libraries, gymnasiums and swimming pools.
Curriculum / Programs
The curriculum is comprised of quality programs, including candidacy with the International Baccalaureate Organization for the Primary Years and Middle Years Programs. At ENS, the classes are interactive and engaging, where students are guided to reach their academic potential. Some highlighted programs of study at ENS include the Letter land phonic program, the Singapore Math and Science programs, and the Houghton Mifflin series.

We also implement a French program for Grades 2 to 9 students. We also offer native speakers of Arabic an Arabic program derived from the UAE Ministry of Education program. Non-native Arabic speaker receive instruction in the AAL program (Arabic as and Additional Language). Students who need support in English will receive help from our staff of EAL teachers (English as an Additional Language).
