Block A contains the Principal's office, administration, the conference suite and the Kindergarten department. We also have two multi-purpose gyms in this block used for a variety of sporting activities. Situated on the top floor of Block an are the fully-equipped Chemistry and Biology Laboratories. Block B contains Primary and High School classrooms along with the computer suite and Physics laboratory. The examination halls are also located in Block B, along with the office of the Examination Officer. There are two playgrounds, each with a canteen for use during break times and P.E. lessons.
Curriculum / Programs
Kindergarten students follow a special program designed to provide them with basic social and academic skills to prepare them for the Primary school. Class teachers teach a British curriculum in Grades One to Five, whilst Grades Six to Ten have separate subjects, taught by specialist teachers. Grades Six to Ten follow an amended British curriculum leading to examinations in the GCSE system from Cambridge, England. Through the Ed-excel program from the London Board, England, students in Grade 11 study for AS Level examinations. In Grade 12 students study, following the same Ed-excel program, for their A Level qualifications. Grades 11 and 12 also have the opportunity to gain the SAT/ TOEFL qualification. We are now also licensed for the American High School System (IB and Advanced Placement) and we are accredited by CITA. Students who meet the school graduation requirements graduate in Grade 12 with the Al Najah Private School Diploma. We hold an annual formal ceremony for our graduates in recognition of their achievements.
