Al Nahda is a strategically planned development, much of which is under construction, and is divided into two sub-communities of its own - Al Nahda 1 and Al Nahda 2. Literally, it means the awakening and is designed to be a mini industrial hub of Dubai. Located in Deira, which falls within the eastern side of Dubai properties sector, Al Nahda borders Sharjah. In that aspect, it is a development which is rather a long way off from the main city. Generally, the conventional approach to building industrial developments is to build them on the peripheries of the city. This is true for Al Nahda as well.

Two of the neighbouring towns of Al Nahda are Al Qusais and Al Mamzar. Although it is a bit too far off from Dubai city but nonetheless, it is pretty well connected from all around so it does not matter where you are coming from, you will find a way to reach this community as it connected by route E II on the Al Ittihad Road in its north. If you are headed to the development from the south, then that should not be a problem either as you can take the 204 Local Road to find your way into the community. Since Al Nahda is primarily meant to be an industrial development, there are hardly any people living there.

Despite the fact that it hardly has a substantial population of its own, the community still does a pretty good job at catering to the needs of all of dwellers. The development is spread over 3.18 km² and is home to handful industries which offer loads of working opportunities for the locals. The various mega manufacturing firms in the area specialise in making a range of products, helping Al Nahda generate revenue and meet the needs of the people across the globe. There cannot be anything better than living in Al Nahda while working for any one of the industries that are set up in the area.

As a development, Al Nahda does not overlook any aspect of community living and thus offers an array of options to choose from when it comes to picking an educational institution to enrol your little ones. The Al Nahda National Schools and a few of the other renowned education institutions have the honour of being the choice of many keen parents who wish to give their children the best of education along with a complete learning experience. Other quality institutions in Al Nahda also offer higher education. One such institution that is definitely worth a mention here is The Dubai Women's College which is solely meant for ladies.

Al Nahda Dubai is a mini industrial hub of the city and so it goes without saying that it has an intricate network of roads that connect all of its nook and crannies to the main highways in the area. These highways do more than just offer pathways to containers and industrial vehicles. For the locals of the area who do not have a car of their own, Al Nahda has a Dubai Metro station of its own which pretty much covers all of the transport needs of the locals in the area. Because of Dubai metro, commuting to work is not an issue. The various metro stations also offer easy transport facilities for the people to reach their destination within the community.

One important destination that is frequently visited by the people is the Al Nahda Resort which offers loads of entertainment opportunities for both grown ups and children.
