Both cities have marvelous and luxurious property sector offerings for buyers and investors but people who now examine carefully and look deeply regarding comparing real estate sector of both the cities, see that Abu Dhabi has more long term investment appeal than Dubai nowadays.

Many people are now suggesting that Dubai’s market is costly and are confident that the Abu Dhabi market has considerable room for optimistic price expansion.

I think is better to invest in Abu Dhabi if you keep in consideration a medium time

Well if you talk about UAE, Dubai is the best for investment.

I'd go for Abu Dhabi if we are talking about short term gains for the reason that both property prices and rentals are growing at a faster rate than Dubai, also there's room for more growth, unlike Dubai where proceedings are already slowing down.

I would go for Dubai.. because despite of current downturn, investment opportunities in Dubai are still profitable.

Hi Everyone,

There has always been a hint of competition between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, two of the biggest and most important of the seven emirates making up the United Arab Emirates. So, it would be a better approach to invest in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

What kind of answers are these?
When you ask about a preoperty investment, there are two things to look at: Capital Gain and rental return.
Are you expecting prices to go up? It seems that prices may go up in Abu Dhabi, but its not likely for prices to go up in Dubai - at least not to the same extent.
Are you looking at rental return? This is a mathematical calculation. Your expected rental income, minus costs as a percentage of your total investment. Again, it would seem that this is more positive in Abu Dhabi. You need to plug some numbers into the formula and get some concrete answers.
