Dear sir,
Hope you are doing well, i’m sending this request on behalf of ktv group (providing service partner offshore, industry & property) based in norway.
We would like to get an advice about saddiyat island; we wish to rent a villa with 5 bedrooms to be used as a residential staying for our ceo & technical team during their staying in auh, plus to take the first floor of this villa to be an office for the admin., sales & account staff will be hired later on.
Is it allows using the same property for both (residential & commercial) as per the law in uae or not?
If yes, can you please send us some broucher to take a look and decide which will be suitable for us?
If no, can you please advise us about yas island?

Your prompt action will be highly appreciated.

Hi amal,

To be honest using a property for residential and commercial purpose at the same time is not a general practice in the uae. Even if it happens, you can face resistance from the owner to agree on it because commercial properties are taxed separately.

However, i don't know exact legal implications of doing so, you must contact few agents of abu dhabi or some reputed lawyer to guide you rightly in this matter. You can use 'agents' section featured at homepage of bayut to contact with the agents agents.
