My friend is working in private company in Tecom and would like to resign as he is not happy with his current job. he joined company in month of Feb 2012 and is still under probation period. will he able to switch job or will he get ban and does he has to severe 1 month notice. Your advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Rahim.

This community helps to sort out queries about UAE and Dubai real estate only. I would recommend your friend to read the terms and conditions of the contract if he signed it. If he is still in probation, there is a chance that he has not singed the contract yet. Check out the HR policy of the company as well. If the contact allows you to serve one month prior notice, then you will have to follow it.

What I feel is that, if your friend is not much experienced and he is still on probation, the company would allow him to leave. Rest you must read out the contract in detail.
