It completely depends upon the customer's choice. If anyone wants to see his home in classic touch, he will always look for traditional classic styles while others will prefer modern furniture to decor their homes and they will go for that at all costs.

Thus, I don't think so it is something to worry about.
Stay updated but do not forget to keep the classic styles.

You are right.....because now youth is moving out to own new homes and they mostly want everything new even the furniture.

I think a combination of modern and classic style furniture must be kept. None of the two could be neglected because there are a lot of houses where you can find the fusion of classic and modern furniture.

Its true selecting the furnishing style is dependent on your choice. As most people like the modern style of furniture, people are also going back to the old classical fashion which looks much beautiful with the modern architecture. So for me old classical furniture is the best furnishing option.

Choosing the right furniture for your home is really very tough thing. As Arub said, youth is going towards new furniture with new style, new design and lot more. But the major issue arises when the furniture does not match with your room theme.

So, you should always be very careful in selecting the furniture that do atleast 90% match with the theme of the home as a whole.

OR you may keep the same furniture and change the color theme of your home keeping the furniture that you already have in mind.

I think that a combination of both styles will bring you the best of the two worlds...We can't deny that some classic pieces of furniture are very beatiful. At the same time, modern furniture designers are bringing creative, cute ideas that add fun to the house decor!

Also, some pieces; such as leather coutches can work with both styles. so, u can play with the surrounding pieces such as the curtains, vases, side lamps and accessories.
