o much goes on there, not on-site for at least 2 years back. You can
inspect the sites and you'd see for yourself. Where do I start?!
Beware on the contracts! They've got absurd clauses like: if the cost of the
material for the construction increases then the purchaser will have to bear
the cost.
So you have to agree to every so often receive extra bills, changes in sizes
of what you purchased (so expect to pay extra for "a bigger investment") and
a project totally cancelled like El Matador, in Jumeirah Village. Ever
wondered what happened to that?! If you ask any sales consultant, they'd say
is sold out – A big fat lie. Well, actually it was cancelled. Oops, that's
exactly what happened to Jumeira Sea View in the marina. No laughing matter
here, many people file complaints, but nothing is done about it. The back
office is filled with unskilled workers and, who is supposed to be a manager
for quality is a kiss-ass sad man called Sunil, with no manners in person or
on the phone. There, at KMP you'd find, after you've paid, NO help or
clarification in any matter – ok, not totally true – KMP will definitely be
very helpful warning you that any arrears in payment. Furthermore, there'll
be stated on the contract that if you're late on payment on a merely 15
days… then tough luck – your money is forfeited and they'll keep 15% of what
you paid.
The Group Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sanjeet is a façade of a polite man
whom won't get his hands dirty – for that he's got muppets like Sunil and
all of the team leaders like Zeina, Abeer, Mansoor.. the others left. So
they won't carry the "muppet" label. I'm sure that they are much happier –
good on them! And for the others that are bullied until they resign, that
way the BULLY KMP can charge the employees that wish to resign, for WHAT
EVER THEY FEEL LIKE. Still, you'd have no other choice other than pay or go
the ministry of labour or report to the police that KMP stole your passport.
Thus, the later two have no time schedule so you are looking to wait of at
least 2 to 3 weeks. And, as if isn't enough, after paying blindly for the
"expenses" you've (as KMP dictactes) caused; you would not be spared of the
year-ban, this is even if you are in the probation period.
I was once part of this whole scam for a short period and, all I wanted is
just not to be part of this foul organization that lies to employees and,
employees lie to client. Any simple task takes for ever.. for all the stupid
rules KMP makes-up, and so much mistrust, that even if your intentions are
good; you'd feel the urge just to break some stupid rules. Stupidity reigns
in KMP. Do you think that anyone in KM Properties will help? Well, even if
one wanted to be helpful, they'd have to go back to the back office to get a
reply maybe a few days later, this is even if they came back to the client
with an answer. All I say is: good luck, and read carefully the contract and
don't sign anything that you aren't happy with. Or you'll be screwed over
big time! Like me, I found out that I had to pay big sum of money to leave
KMP, which I had to do blindly, otherwise they would keep my passport (yes,
they make us sign that we agree they can keep our passport) and not cancel
my working visa until I had paid. I couldn't even have a detailed list of
what I was paying for. Like everyone that leaves KM Properties. It isn't
following the Labour laws and is not stated on my contract but that I would
have to fight for and be on standby until the court declares the outcome of
the matter.
Watch out if you are a broker for KMP, if they Sales Consultant that you
work with KMP misses any papers on the long list of approvals before you
get your commission. You can kiss it goodbye or you have to fight long hours
until you'd get your deserved money and that can take months. Even if all
the papers are approved by at least five signatures (that take forever to be
collected, you'd think they stay miles away from each other.. no, only a few
meters. Seriously) if you are lucky, you'd get your commission about one
month and a half later.
STAY AWAY FROM *KM PROPERTIES.* Only an advise from someone whose eyes
couldn't help but seeing this whole CRAP Miss Khulood Al Rostamani made up
with a bunch of muppets under her guidance.
And, do you think they will build what ever they said they'd build? They can
easily, after the tons of complaints, and filled cases against KMP.. simply
close the doors, and declare *BANKRUPCY*, so tough luck to anyone that ever
purchased something with them. Open another "company" with a different name
– but same crap will roll.
Thank you Akbar. I fully agree with you. I had very bad experience with KM Properties since December 2007. I bought 2 office units in their Tamani Arts Offices project and there had been not much progress in this project. The last update published under their website was in November 2010, where they claim that they had reached podium 4. I paid about 50% and then I stopped paying other installments when they were not able to commit themselves to a completion date and I declined to sign the contract after they changed the areas of the units and demanded an additional payment. What is even worse is their bookkeeping. They were not able to trace the payment that I made through their sales office in Saudi Arabia, and could not reconcile their records with the bank that maintains the escrow account for the project. They also claim that their representative in Saudi Arabia had misappropriated the money and did not send all the payments I made to Dubai office. It is really a total mess and I feel like I have lost my money with these big crooks.
