Hi Imran,

As for buying / leasing a shop in Dubai, the rates vary as the size and locality of the shop. Generally the ranges you will get are between AED 50 / sqft to AED 100 / sqft.

As for bringing your relatives / friends to work there, you will get your license transferred to that shop and apply for your relatives / friends visa on that license for them to work at that shop.

Hope that clarifies everything.

Hi Imran,

In order to rent a shop in a Free Zone to operate commercially, you must have a free zone trading license and if you want to operate in any region of Dubai, then you must have a general trading license. The latter is more costly than the former.

There are many companies providing services to open a FZC (Free Zone Company) in UAE.

Hope this helps.
