Most of the construction in Dubai is commercial based but there are a few residential projects. Therefore, I am unable to make up my mind which would be a better residential area to invest, Should I invest in plots, flats or commercial development is more profitable.

Hi Sandy,

You are not correct in assuming that most of the construction in Dubai is commercial, in fact I think it is fairly even and you are likely to find as many residential projects as commercial if not more.

Buying plots in Dubai is a very expensive proposition so that is something you would not like to consider. Between flats and commercial offices or shops I would tend to go for residential properties in the present circumstances i.e. either flats or villas as these are likely to go on rent quickly but do make sure that you only go for completed properties in good localities otherwise it can take some time to put your property on rent.

Regarding long terms returns on investment, both commercial and residential are equally attractive and viable, especially now as the prices are pretty much at their lowest values so this is the time to buy real estate in Dubai.

Anyhow this is just my opinion and hope it helps.

Invest in a villa in Como Lake, in the same city where George Clooney has already acquired four properties, included his well-know Villa Oleandra.

The villa is 8 bedrooms, 6 en-suites, and has lake access and a large green area.

It comes with a caretaker (my self) and you can even make it into a Bed and Breakfast or keep it as a luxurious residence as it is now.

Price is 3 million euros.

Contact me for further details. No timewaster please.
