Freehold property is the one which can be purchased by any one. There are certain areas in Dubai in which properties can be bought only by its own residents only. In contrast to that, freehold property can be purchased by any one, by a Dubai resident or an international investor.
Furthermore Freehold properties once owned will remain under your ownership for life as compared to leasehold properties, where the lease is required to be renewed say every 99 years.
