Mussafah may not be a new name for those living in Abu Dhabi but for the rest of the UAE however, it is a new satellite town. For the state of Abu Dhabi, the area has long been one of its primary industrial hubs and has played its role rather well in strengthening the local engineering and steel industry. Mussafah is home to one of the prime industrial areas of Abu Dhabi which is known as Mussafah Sanaiya. Besides being the hub of industrial units of Abu Dhabi, this area offers spectacular working opportunities because of the presence of so many other industrial units.

Mussafah is fast emerging as an important town in the Abu Dhabi real estate sector. The fact that it is already a mini industrial hub means that it boasts an extensive network of roads, connecting nooks and crannies of the area with each other and the rest of Abu Dhabi. The presence of industrial units means that the area was already equipped with all the basic infrastructure that is necessary for developing a residential sector and so the growing number of people who’re picking Mussafah Abu Dhabi as their home have all the more reasons to have a house here.

Roughly speaking, Mussafah can be divided into two parts. One comprises of the industrial units and is primarily made up of the engineering and steel units that are set up in the area and is called Mussafah Sanaiya. The other one however is the real Mussafah in the sense that it is home to the dwellers of the locality and is fast emerging as a residential community, complete with villas and apartments. The residential part of the town is called Mussafah Shabiya and is the preferred place to live for the thousands of people who are employed by the industrial units. Living in proximity to the industrial units cuts down the commuting for them.

Other than this, Abu Dhabi Mussafah has been declared the site for the industrial city of the state. This combined with the fact that this town has a seaport of its own goes to say volumes about its role in the economic prosperity of the state of Abu Dhabi. If its seaport is converted into a commercial port, it could double or maybe triple the revenues it generates for the emirate. All of these things point towards a very bright future for Mussafah both as a residential community and as a commercial/industrial hub.
