According to sources, Tameer’s Princess Tower has been confirmed as the tallest residential building in the entire world by the Guinness World Records. Being ideally located in Dubai Marina, the skyscraper is 414m high from base to the tip.
The development features 107 storeys which consist of 763 luxury apartments overlooking Palm Jumeirah. The apartment includes one to four bedroom apartments along with some penthouses.
Princess Tower covers an area of 37,410 square feet and it consists of six basement floors, one ground floor, eight retail stores and 100 above-ground floors. The president of Tameer, Federico Tauber says that this is really a proud moment for not only Tamer but for the entire Dubai city, since Dubai is now enjoying the twin distinction of having the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa and the world’s tallest residential tower, Princess Tower.
According to sources, the intention of Azerbaijan to build the world’s tallest building in the world is revealed in a report last month. The expected name given to the tower is ‘Azerbaijan Tower’ which would be a 1050 meter structure.
This tower is expected to be taller than the Kingdom Tower, which is planned to be backed by the Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed. The Kingdom Tower is planned to be a 1 km high building. Azerbaijan Tower would be taller than Burj Khalifa and would look over Baku’s largest development project. Baku’s development project is expected to include Formula One race track and dozens of artificial islands.
