Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al-Maktoum plans to build a $60bn city in his name in the desert adjacent to the emirate, reported Bloomberg. The project, designed by architect Eric Kuhne of London-based CivicArts, will be developed by Dubai Properties, a unit of Sheikh Mohammed's Dubai Holding.
