Dh1.65b Skygardens Project Nears CompletionFriday, July 11, 2008
The Dh1.65 billion Skygardens project in Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) is now nearing completion, according to the UAE's largest mortgage provider, Amlak Finance. Skygardens is the first residential tower in DIFC and has a total of 575 apartments over 39 floors, including studios, one and two bedroom apartments, duplexes and seven penthouses. Prices start at an average of Dh4,500 per square foot if the apartment is furnished and an average of Dh3,900 per square foot if unfurnished. The land area is 6,000 square metres. Designed and furnished by Fendi, Skygardens had suffered some setbacks due to a disagreement between Amlak and owner Mazaya Holding, but is now on track for completion in August. Source: Gulf News
