Cayan Investment and Development - one of the region's leading real estate developers - on Sunday said its Infinity Tower development in Dubai Marina has seen accelerated construction and has already achieved significant progress on site. The 80-storey tower will offer a stunning view of Dubai Marina. The podium levels which make up six floors are complete. Arabtec, the main contractor for the project, has over 1,000 workers on site, working around the clock in shifts to ensure the construction schedule is followed. The significant progress achieved on the Infinity Tower project further emphasises Cayan Investment and Development's impressive track record on project delivery as well as Arabtec's dedication to the project. In his comments on the project construction, Ahmad Al Hatti, chairman of Cayan, said: "Cayan Investment and Development has always remained committed to time frames on its various projects and Infinity Tower is no exception. The progress of construction on the unique development reflects the meticulous care that Cayan lends to every aspect of its projects". "At Infinity, we have moved from basement to level 7 in the past six months," said Kareem Derbas, CEO of Cayan Investment and Development. The development has already garnered a total of six design awards over the last three years, including the International Architecture Award from the Chicago Athenaeum. As of December 2008, Cayan has delivered 4 out of its 7 projects in Dubai and expects to deliver its remaining 3 projects between 2010 and 2011.
